The Anne Springs Close Greenway offers full-day options to youth from 3 years old - 9th grade when school is not in session. The Greenway’s 2,100 acres of preserved land allows for hiking, outdoor play and nature activities for a unique camp experience. The Greenway gives children a chance to experience and celebrate nature. Campers end the week muddy, tired and full of memories made with new friends in the great outdoors!
OVERVIEW
Guides and counsels campers in camp activities, teaches campers new skills, and helps carry out camp goals. Responsible for teaching, coordinating, and carrying out activities and guiding campers in their personal growth as directed by the Site Director. Average hours per week 25-40. Seasonal position from May to August; reports to the Site Director.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Some physical requirements of a Camp Counselor include: endurance, prolonged standing, some bending, stooping, walking long distances, hiking, biking, climbing, and stretching; requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity to manipulate outdoor equipment and camp activities; requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate camper activities/programs and the ability to lift up to 25lbs; daily exposure to conditions such as the sun and heat, rain, and other inconsistent weather patterns. Potential encounters with bugs, snakes, etc.
