International Travel Coordinator
DigiFlight is seeking a Travel Coordinator supporting International Apache (IA) within the Apache Attack Helicopter Project Management Office (AAH-PMO) based in the Huntsville, AL area. Candidates should have excellent program management, organizational, and communication skills with experience in Foreign Military Sales. An ideal candidate should have experience with Army Aviation, be highly motivated, a self-starter, and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Education and General Experience:
· A Bachelor’s degree is desired or a minimum of 4 years’ experience (4 years of relevant experience may be used in lieu of degree).
· Knowledge of the Army Travel System/Requirements
· The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance is required.
Job Duties:
· Primary duty is to provide support to the International Apache PD by assisting personnel with requirements in the Defense Transportation System and with the preparation and processing of pre-departure travel documentation for employees. This will consist of, but will not be limited to:
· Assignment as the primary Point of Contact (POC) for processing required travel documentation.
· Coordinating with International Apache and the Apache PM travel POCs.
· Coordinating and tracking submissions of travel packets to ensure they are approved prior to travel departure.
· Verifying travel packets are completed--to include authorizations and vouchers.
· Coordinating with the primary Apache Security POCs for travel requirements
· Conducting specific country related briefings.
· Processing travel clearance requests and coordinating APACS requirements in support of programmed travel for International Apache.
· As required, assist with the development of briefing material in support of travel reporting.
