Position Overview:
The Marketing Intern will assist with a wide range of marketing initiatives for each brand. In this role, you will assist with campaign logistics and development, assist with content creation, market research, ambassador management, and event coordination. You will work closely with the Marketing Manager Team to help execute strategies for each brand based on awareness, engagement, and growth. This internship is ideal for a motivated and creative individual with a passion for the outdoors and an interest in building a career in marketing. You will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects and develop valuable skills for your career.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the Marketing team with execution of marketing campaigns.
- Monitor brand ambassadors’ and content creators’ deliverables.
- Assist with logistics for content shoots and local events.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends.
- Conduct brand research for earned media hits via blogs/articles and social posts.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to marketing initiatives.
- Support day-to-day operations of the marketing team.
- Ship products to media and create/track marketing orders.
- Assist with copywriting for email campaigns, digital ads, etc.

Education and Experience:
- Some knowledge or interest in marketing.
- Experience or understanding of marketing principles is a plus.
- Passion for the outdoor industry is preferred.

Physical Demands:
- Works in an office environment.
- Regular and predictable attendance is required.
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time in front of a computer.
- Ability to move about facility on regular basis to perform physical activities, such as, but not limited to, lifting heavy equipment (up to 50lbs. unassisted), bending, standing, climbing or walking.
- Visual and hearing acuity.
- Ability and willingness to travel locally for work.
