WORK OBJECTIVE
This is a temporary part-time summer position that supervises, counsels, and mentors at-risk youths attending the Police Athletic Leagueβs summer camp. The summer camp program is a means for our at-risk youth to have a positive alternative to spending their summer break unsupervised and/or unguided, and provides an environment in which the at-risk youths positively interact with the police. The youths are divided into age groups and each group is assigned to a counselor that serves as their guide during the summer camp program. The camp program consists of academic, artistic, and athletic activities to which the counselor is expected to actively participate with the youths.
