About the role

The Accounting Assistant will register all the designated accounting transactions. Responsible for reconciling bank accounts. Ensure payments to suppliers are done considering all supporting documents (based on accounting and tax rules). Handle Lima office´s petty cash. Archive all documents for internal control. Be an active participant in the ERP implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and register all accounting transactions according to the approved GL accounts,

  • Prepare weekly bank account reconciliations.

  • Process requested payments to supplier ensuring all supporting documents are aligned with accounting and tax rules.

  • Archive all documents in both digital and physical forms,

  • Analyze all accounts in a monthly basis,

  • Handle Lima´s petty cash,

  • Help in other office administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting,

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Accounting Assistant,

  • English level Intermediate, oral and written,

  • Knowledge of NICs and NIIF, PCGE,

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel - intermediate level

  • This role is a hybrid role based out of Peru, where a minimum number of days as set by the region, is required in the Lima office.

Skills

  • Fast learner and detail oriented,

  • Assertive communication within all organization levels,

  • Capable of understanding and adapt to different accounting/ERP software's,

  • Proactive, self-motivated and with initiative,

  • Good time management

  • Committed and punctual with all the relevant due dates.
