Position summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Supplier Quality Technician to join our team in Specialized Taiwan. This role focuses on ensuring the quality and functionality of bicycles and related components through rigorous inspections, supplier audits, and problem-solving initiatives. The ideal candidate has a background in quality, practical knowledge of bicycle mechanics and manufacturing processes, and excellent communication skills.
This position offers the potential for growth into a Supplier Quality Engineer role, where you will support engineering projects in product development.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Bicycle Functional Inspections:
o Conduct thorough inspections of bicycles and components compatibility test to ensure the quality standards and functional performance requirements.
2. Supplier Audits:
o Visit supplier’s production lines to perform process audits and ensure adherence to assembly standards.
o Identify areas for improvement and collaborate with suppliers to implement corrective actions.
3. Problem Solving:
o Investigate and troubleshooting quality issues, both in the field and at supplier facilities.
o Analyze root causes and propose effective solutions to prevent recurrence.
4. Documentation and Reporting:
o Maintain accurate records of inspections, audit results, and corrective actions.
o Generate detailed quality reports and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
5. Collaboration and Support:
o Work closely with bike development, supply chain, and engineer to uphold quality expectations.
o Provide technical support and training to suppliers as needed.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO WIN
Skills & Knowledge:
• Education:
o Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience:
o Hands-on experience in bicycle manufacturing or assembly.
o Familiarity with quality inspection tools and methodologies.
• Technical Skills:
o Understanding of bicycle mechanics and manufacturing processes.
o Proficiency in quality assurance tools such as 8D, Fishbone Diagrams, and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Communication:
o Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
o Ability to present findings clearly and effectively to diverse teams.
