About the Position

Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional musician to assist in our Rock Camp, part-time at Middle C Music, our Washington, DC location. We are looking for teachers who will instruct IN PERSON.

Successful candidates will have a strong music background, a demonstrated love of teaching, experience working with young musicians, a robust appreciation for punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check.

Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and education and will be $18.50/hour. A 401(K) program with employer matching is available to all of our employees after 90 days on the job. Health benefit packages are available for all part- and full-time employees at Ensemble.

Primary responsibilities include:

- Assist the Rock Band Camp leader in running the camp
- Help students learn their songs
- Assist with setup of instruments for practice each day
- Assist with putting on the end-of-week concert at Middle C
