We are seeking a creative and dynamic Social Media Manager to join our marketing team. The Turner’s Outdoorsman Social Media Manager is responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy to enhance our brand presence, engage with our community, and drive online sales. This role requires a combination of creativity, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of social media trends and analytics.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the Turner’s business goals and marketing objectives.
  • Create, curate, and manage engaging and high-quality content across all social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, and TikTok.
  • Monitor social media channels for customer interactions and respond in a timely and professional manner, fostering a positive community experience.
  • Analyze social media metrics and generate reports to assess performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and customer service, to ensure brand consistency and effective communication.
  • Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep Turner's Outdoorsman at the forefront of industry developments.
  • Manage social media advertising campaigns and budgets, optimizing for maximum ROI.
  • Identify and engage with influencers and brand ambassadors to expand our reach and strengthen brand loyalty.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Legally eligible to work in a firearms environment – DOJ Certificate of Eligibility Required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field strongly preferred. 
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing, preferably in the retail or outdoor industry.
  • Proven track record of managing successful social media campaigns and growing brand presence.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, analytics tools, and content management systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Passion for outdoor activities and familiarity with outdoor products is a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Able to lift up to 25 pounds without assistance.
  • Must be able to use both hands when handling a firearm.
  • Must be able to use a computer proficiently.
  • Must be able to stand, sit, bend and lift throughout the course of a scheduled shift

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Occasional travel is required (approximately 30% of the time-participating in events, training seminars, corporate meetings or opening new store locations)

WORKING CONDITIONS: 

  • Work environment primarily takes place in an office setting.

HOURS:

  • Hours - at least 40 hours per week are required.
