Position Summary:
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for leveraging photography, videography, and drone content to create compelling digital campaigns. This role focuses on curating, scheduling, and optimizing content across social platforms to drive engagement, increase brand awareness, and connect effectively with the target audience. Additionally, the Social Media Manager will collaborate with the marketing team to align content strategies with broader marketing initiatives and ensure a cohesive brand presence online.
This position is 100% on-site/in-office
Performance Objectives:
- Utilize photography, videography, and drone footage to create engaging and visually compelling social media content that highlights unique features of various properties and experiences.
- Develop and execute a content calendar across all major platforms, ensuring consistent, high-quality posts that align with brand messaging and marketing initiatives.
- Foster relationships with the online audience by actively engaging with followers, responding to comments and messages, and encouraging user-generated content to enhance brand loyalty and awareness.
- Tailor visual assets for different social media channels such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Facebook to maximize engagement.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement social media campaigns that drive brand awareness, increase engagement, and promote services or experiences.
- Stay informed about industry trends, platform changes, and emerging content formats to create fresh and engaging content.
- Monitor social media metrics, track engagement, and generate reports to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns, making data-driven recommendations.
- Work closely with property managers and staff to gather content, coordinate live coverage of events, and ensure authentic representation.
- Uphold brand standards in all social content while monitoring and addressing reviews, guest feedback, and brand mentions.
- Identify and engage with influencers, brand ambassadors, and partnerships to expand reach and enhance social media presence.
- Stay informed about evolving social media best practices and adjust strategies to improve content performance.
Key Competencies:
- Ability to develop and execute a structured content calendar aligned with brand goals and marketing initiatives.
- Strong understanding of major platforms, content formats, posting schedules, and audience engagement strategies.
- Skilled in using photography, videography, and drone footage to craft engaging content tailored for various social platforms.
- Excellent relationship-building skills to foster online community engagement.
- Strong writing and communication skills to craft clear and engaging content that aligns with the brand voice.
- Ability to track and interpret performance metrics to optimize content and campaign strategies.
- Experience in managing paid and organic social media campaigns and integrating marketing initiatives.
- Ability to stay current on social media trends, algorithm changes, and emerging content formats.
- Strong teamwork skills to work effectively with internal teams and on-site staff.
- Proficiency in handling guest feedback, reviews, and maintaining a positive brand reputation.
- Experience in identifying and building relationships with influencers and partners.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple content schedules, campaigns, and deadlines.
- Familiarity with design tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or CapCut for minor content adjustments.
- Knowledge of Facebook Ads Manager, boosted posts, and social media ad targeting strategies.
Education & Experience:
- Proficiency in operating professional-grade cameras for photography and videography.
- Experience with drone operation, including knowledge of regulations and best practices for aerial photography.
- Pre- and post-production editing skills using professional software.
- 3-5 years of Social Media Manager experience
- Excellent copywriting skills
- Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
- Knowledge of online marketing channels
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Bachelor’s degree (BA) or equivalent in marketing or relevant field; or related experience and/or training
Physical Requirements:
- Constantly sit, talk, or hear; Frequently use hands.
- Manual dexterity for handling paperwork and using office equipment.
- Clear vision and hearing for reviewing documents and communicating effectively.
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to travel to various property locations
