The Travel Coordinator/Team Travel Assistant is responsible for assisting in coordinating the company’s travel needs.  This position may provide limited support to the Director of Team Travel and Logistics.  The Travel Coordinator/Team Travel Assistant reports to the Travel Manager.

 

Job Duties: 

 

  • Responsible for SABRE items – individual reservations, stars, queues, schedules flights, car rentals, and hotel accommodations for all company corporate travel
  • Secures the most cost-efficient accommodations
  • Ensure employees have all relevant travel information in a timely manner
  • Assist Travel Manager in reconciling and auditing travel and related costs with various internal departments and outside travel providers
  • Assist Travel Manager in developing, implementing, and enforcing company travel-related policies and procedures
  • Maintain on-call status nights, weekends and holidays to ensure team members needs are met.

 

 

 

Job Skills

  • 3-5 years of SABRE experience and/or 3-4 years of Concur (or equivalent travel booking tool) experience preferred
  • Domestic and international travel planning experience is preferred
  • Group ticketing knowledge is a plus
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills
  • Exercise discretion and confidentiality with production/client information
