POSITION SUMMARY
Alterra Mountain Company is seeking a HRIS Analyst to support the organization’s HRIS platforms. This role will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operational needs of the Workday environment including, but not limited to, user management, supporting ongoing enhancements, data changes, testing, reporting, and general platform and end-user support. This role will also assist in managing our Fresh Service ticketing queue and assist with Tier 1-2 Workday questions.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES & JOB DUTIES
- Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs/requirements.
- Participate as a team member to achieve successful support and enhancements of Workday.
- Collaborate with functional and technical stakeholders to optimize business processes (particularly workflow/security), implement new functionality, and actively participate in major projects as needed.
- Establish plans for ongoing enhancements and support of the Workday platform as a whole.
- Monitor the ticketing queue and provide troubleshooting support for functional and technical production issues, for all users.
- Assist with the day-to-day operational needs of the Workday environment including user management, data changes and analysis as needed.
- Assist in managing and testing Workday major releases, identifying impact and enhancement opportunities associated with a new release, and communicating appropriately to the various business unit leads.
- Actively participate in the Workday Community to identify any potential issues as well as identify any new solutions to existing issues.
- Work independently with great team spirit.
- Take full ownership of and accountability for assigned tasks and communicate status accurately to management and teams.

COMPETENCIES & JOB REQUIREMENTS
Required:
- 2+ years of Workday support experience
- Strong business analysis experience, including requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, testing, documentation, etc.
- Demonstrated competency in documenting solutions for both technical and functional audiences.
- Experience with testing, including definition and execution of test plans and scenarios.
- Proficient in the MS Office suite of products
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Demonstrated success in managing multiple tasks in a complex and fast changing environment
- Self-motivated and directed with the ability to learn quickly
- Able to multi-task and concurrently manage multiple tasks
- Able to work independently
- Team oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Able to drive results
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Required:
- Diploma or certificate in human resource management, or equivalent experience. Diploma or certificate in information technology will also be considered.
- BA/BS in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology or a related field
- 3 -5 years of professional experience in Human Resources, Information Technology or similarly applicable field
WORK EXPERIENCE
Preferred:
- Workday Benefits experience
- Workday Compensation experience
- BA/BS in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology or a related field
Required:
- Minimum of 3+ years in an HRIS Analyst or Information Systems Analyst
- Minimum of 2+ years supporting Workday HCM
- Experience in configuration management in an enterprise environment.
The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of the Company’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.
Denver area base salary range: $80,000 - $112,000 per year
