Deer Valley Resort is nestled in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah, in the historic mining town of Park City which has evolved into an exciting and diverse mountain ski town. Our staff consists of locals, transplants, seasonal workers from all 50 states and international students from around the globe.

Ski perks (vary based on employment status) may include Deer Valley season pass, free skiing or riding at other Alterra Resorts and select local Utah resorts Friends and family ski discounts, free staff ski lessons and discounted rentals (winter staff only) Subsidized meals at Employee Dining Rooms offered for staff while on shift Subsidized housing options available for seasonal full-time staff Discounts for staff members at restaurants, shops, and service providers in Park City Healthcare options are available for staff members 401k plan with company match PURPOSE OF POSITION: Operate chairlifts in a safe and efficient manner, assisting guests to safely load and unload chairlift, check for proper lift tickets and support the Deer Valley 3 Circle Model.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Be attentive at load and unload terminals Engage guests at every
opportunity:
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor Work outside in winter conditions for long periods of time Maintain a safe work area Maintain an aesthetically pleasing work area Perform expected amount of snow work.
(Sweeps chairs, remove snow from terminals) Actively and efficiently organize lift lines and check guest’s lift tickets Display respect for all employees at all times Demonstrate a teamwork ethic Be familiar with motor rooms and their operation Know how to perform ladder evacuations Take initiative to be self-directed Complete all paperwork efficiently and legibly Adhere to all skiing policies Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions Must be able to lift and carry 60 lbs. and do hard, physical labor Must be able to communicate well with people Must enjoy working with people and children Must be dependable Must be 18 yrs. old Skiing ability preferred DATES OF EMPLOYMENT: 11/19/2025 - 04/19/2026 PAY RATE: Pay: $21.00 per hour Deer Valley Resort is an Equal
