POSITION SUMMARY The Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis is a key financial leader responsible for enterprise-wide planning, forecasting, investor relations, and performance management within a large, seasonal, multi-site hospitality organization.
- Reporting to the CFO, this role provides strategic financial leadership while overseeing a team of regional and corporate finance professionals.
The VP is instrumental in supporting the company’s transformation agenda, strengthening financial rigor, and enhancing communication with equity and debt stakeholders. ESSENTIAL DUTIES Financial Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting Lead the annual budgeting process across all resorts and business units.
- Oversee monthly and weekly forecasts; consolidate enterprise-level projections.
Direct Shared Services and Ikon Pass P&L reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Enterprise Performance Management Guide Regional Finance Vice Presidents in weekly/monthly performance reviews.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities and ensure clear follow-through on actions.
- Drive standardization and continuous improvement in reporting across the enterprise.
Long Range Planning Own the 5-Year Long Range Plan, including modeling, capex prioritization, and capital structure considerations. Partner with senior leadership on strategic initiatives, scenario modeling, and transformation priorities. Investor Relations – Debt & Equity Manage debt investor relations, including refinancing, repricing, compliance materials, and rating agency communication.
- Lead equity investor and board reporting: quarterly materials, monthly KPIs, and ad hoc presentations.
Competitive Analysis Oversee competitive benchmarking, including financial analysis of publicly disclosed data from comparable industry peers. Translate insights into strategic recommendations for leadership. Team Leadership Lead a high-performing team consisting of Regional Vice Presidents, Director, and Manager level positions.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

AND ABILITIES Minimum 15 years of
experience:
in FP&A, corporate finance, debt capital markets, or related areas.
Experience:
- leading finance in a multi-site, consumer-facing, or hospitality organization.
Experience:
in private equity-backed or publicly traded companies preferred. CFA and/or CPA designation strongly preferred.
Experience:
- supporting shared services functions such as procurement, AP/AR, or payroll is a plus.
