    Job Description

    Summary: To assist the Room Attendants with the cleaning of assigned areas. Essential Duties and

    Responsibilities:

    include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1.

    • Assist in the cleaning of rooms, cabins and public spaces as outlined in the housekeeping manual and/or as directed by the Executive housekeeper.

    2. Clean and maintain public areas, windows, ash urns, sidewalks and vending areas including ice, washers/dryers and vending machines. 3. Clean and maintain fireplaces, balconies and hallways. 4. Stock housekeeping carts and linen rooms. 5.

    • Deliver welcome baskets to assigned areas.

    6. Move furniture, as required. 7.

    • Maintain cleanliness of all floors.

    8.

    • Maintain an awareness of all safety procedures and guidelines as they relate to guests and associates.

    9. Be able to lift 75 pounds on a regular basis. 10.

    • Provide professional, friendly service to all guests.

    11.

    • Ensure early morning newspaper delivery to rooms.

    12.

    • Perform other duties as required.
