Your Role as Extended Care Counselor As an Extended Care Counselor, you’ll be a key part of our afternoon program, creating a safe and enjoyable environment where campers can relax, play, and connect after their camp day. Your Responsibilities:

Safety First: Ensure the physical and emotional safety of all children in your care. Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve conflicts to maintain a harmonious environment. Collaboration: Work closely with other counselors to create a positive, team-oriented atmosphere. Engaging Activities: Plan and lead a variety of fun, age-appropriate programs tailored to the interests of campers.

Mission-Driven: Uphold the mission and values of the PJCC and Camp KEFF in all your interactions. The Fine Print Schedule: June 15 – August 7 (with limited schedules to August 21) Monday–Friday, 7:30 am–4:30 pm, with mandatory staff training from June 8 - June 12 (8am-4:00pm including an overnight).

Compensation:

$18.00 per hour, plus paid training and free PJCC Athletic Center membership.
