Job Overview:
Under the direct supervision of the HR Manager, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team. The Entry-Level HR Generalist supports recruiting, onboarding, and day-to-day HR operations. This role is ideal for a developing HR professional looking to gain hands-on experience across core HR functions while serving as a point of contact for candidates and new hires.
Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Essential Job Duties) Common activities listed below: actual position responsibilities may vary.:
- Recruiting & Onboarding
- Assist with full-cycle recruiting, including posting jobs, phone screenings, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates and hiring managers
- Support onboarding activities such as preparing offer letters, new hire paperwork, background checks, and orientation
- Ensure timely and accurate entry of employee data into HRIS and ATS systems
- Maintain and update applicant tracking systems (ATS) and candidate records.
- Collaborate with HR team to plan and execute recruitment strategies
- Serve as a first point of contact for new hires during onboarding
HR Administrative Functions
- Respond to routine employee HR questions regarding policies, benefits, and procedures
- Maintain personnel files and ensure documentation compliance
- Assist with benefits enrollment changes and employee status updates
- Support performance review tracking and HR reporting
- Assist with compliance tasks, audits, and policy administration
Essential Functions:
- Support new hire orientation and ensure completion of required paperwork.
- Respond to candidate inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with HR team to plan and execute recruitment strategies.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies during the hiring process.
- Provide general administrative support, including scheduling, filing, and reporting.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and office equipment skills (as well as a demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technology in support of business operations).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Education:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1–2 years of experience in HR or recruiting preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Proficient in MS Office and familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) is a plus.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus,
Schedule:
- Performance of work requires attendance from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (or as agreed upon) on normal business days.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong communication skills, both verbal and written, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. They must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining confidentiality when handling sensitive information. A proactive attitude, adaptability to shifting priorities, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are essential. The candidate should also be comfortable using digital tools and recruitment systems and show a genuine interest in supporting candidates and contributing to a positive hiring experience.
