    What will you do? A day in the life of an Operations Manager at VF looks a little like this.

    • Manage activities of warehouse employees engaged in all distribution center activities including shipping, receiving, loading, and unloading trucks, picking, and packing products.
    • Plan and attend to space and storage needs.

    Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more. Clearly and persuasively communicate complex information to diverse audiences, adapting communication style as appropriate. Objectively review and resolve challenging operational issues, securing cooperation and alignment across stakeholders.

    • Demonstrate resourcefulness and cultural awareness to ensure effective messaging and collaboration in a multicultural environment.
    • Analyze and synthesize complex data within your area of expertise to support informed, strategic decision-making.

    Apply advanced analytical and problem-solving techniques to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.

    • Develop innovative approaches based on limited information, leveraging

    experience:

    and adapting existing processes when necessary. Exercise sound judgment to guide teams toward optimal courses of action with consideration for long-term impact.

    • Provide strong leadership by directing the application of established principles and best practices to achieve operational excellence.

    Foster collaboration with peers and cross-functional departments to drive efficiency and shared success. Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, accuracy, and overall performance.

    • Maintain a primary operational focus on picking and packing processes, ensuring quality standards and throughput goals are consistently met.

    What do you need to succeed? While formal

    education:

    in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in generally 4+ years of related

    experience:

    with at least 2 years of supervisory
