Job Duties:
Summer camp counselor from approximately May 26 - end of July. Monday - Friday 8-5, no weekends or evenings.
Minimum Qualifications
Age 16. Must be enthusiastic, dependable, mature with strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Be able to be outside in all sorts of weather, walk up to two miles daily, lift up to 30 pounds unassisted. Able to communicate clearly with campers, fellow counselors, interpretive staff and parents/guardians. Able
to respond quickly in an emergency. Available to attend all training sessions and work Monday-Friday for the majority of camp.
Additional Considerations
- Demonstrated child-care experience or education experience preferred. Experience
with outdoor/historical activities preferred. Valid CPR, First Aid and/or CMA credentials a plus.
