Key Responsibilities
Sales:
Secure and cost profitable tour products
Understand market dynamics and margin control
Build & maintain strong supplier and agent relationships
Source new and exciting products
Create a personal sales strategy to grow business
Collaborate closely with the internal team to meet goals
Operations:
Design creative itineraries for ADHOC groups, FITs, and tour series
Quote and capture bookings using Tourplan
Negotiate better rates, policies, and free-of-charge benefits
Follow up on sent quotes
Run confirmed groups and tour bookings
Prepare all travel documentation and co-pilots
Assist with 24-hour emergency support line
Liaise with guides and brief them before travel
Financial:
Instruct invoicing and reconcile supplier payments
Resolve invoicing and collection queries
Verify tour guide expense sheets and salary invoices
Additional:
Attend supplier training & workshops
Stay informed on market and product changes
Participate in educational/familiarization trips
Prioritize excellent communication and service delivery
Your Purpose:
To create and manage profitable, tailor-made group tour packages that delight both new and existing clients.
Minimum Requirements
Matric (Grade 12)
Relevant tertiary qualification (advantageous)
4+ years' experience in Destination Management
Proven experience using Tourplan
Must reside in Windhoek, Namibia
