Overview

Exciting Opportunity: Programme Officer!

As Programme Officer, you'll be at the heart of the action, working alongside the Deputy Country Director and senior staff to tackle complex tasks and handle sensitive situations with style!

From coordinating flights to managing housing logistics and supporting local projects, you’ll help keep the gears of the operation turning smoothly. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on organisation, stays cool under pressure, and loves getting things done. Not only will you make a big difference to your colleagues, but you’ll also play a key part in MAF’s mission to bring both physical and spiritual transformation. It’s meaningful work with a healthy dash of fun!

We are Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF)! An organisation that has been using light aircraft to deliver help and hope for over 75 years across more than 30 developing countries. MAF transports patients, relief workers, produce, and medical supplies to some of the world's most remote and needy regions—places where flying is not a luxury but a lifeline.

One of these places is Arnhem Land, a historical region of the Northern Territory of Australia. It is also a beautiful vast wilderness area, defined by rocky escarpments, gorges, rivers, and waterfalls. MAF has served the people in Arnhem Land for 50 years by sharing God’s love through aviation. To continue providing this valuable service we need a motivated Office Manager.

**NOTE: Applicants must have the legal right to work in either Australia. Successful applicants will be subject to pre-employment background checks including a National Criminal History check. Acceptance of and adherence to MAF’s purpose, vision and values is an essential condition of employment.**
