Natural Habitat Adventures (Nat Hab), a nature-focused global adventure travel company, is seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Director of Digital Marketing to enhance and lead the digital marketing strategic vision and initiatives of the company.  This person will possess strong people management skills, a passion for data and analytics, and proven growth experience across all key digital channels. 

 

The successful candidate must align well with our company’s culture and values, possess exceptional leadership, organizational and communication skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative and mission-driven environment. We are only considering candidates located within a one-hour commute of our Louisville, CO office. This position is full-time, exempt.



RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 6+ experienced digital marketing professionals and multiple agency partners, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including operations, sales, and other marketing teams to create integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including but not limited to SEO, SEM, email, social, SMS, etc.
  • Oversee the development and optimization of Nat Hab's website, working closely with an internal team and external agency partners to rapidly build and deploy UX-optimized features and experiences.
  • Enhance our digital advertising strategy in collaboration with our agency partner to drive high-quality lead generation and brand awareness across Google, Bing, and Meta channels.
  • Oversee the effort to conduct market research and analysis to keep up to date on industry trends and changes in consumer behavior and use this data to inform marketing channels and strategies.
  • Oversee the development and execution of special projects designed to generate qualified leads and build brand recognition and engagement.
  • Build and enhance analytics tools and dashboards to measure lead generation, conversion and other key performance indicators, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Deliver regular reports on digital marketing performance and ROI to senior leadership.
  • Additional responsibilities and duties as assigned.



SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 7 years in digital marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role involving people management and team development preferred.
  • Inspirational leader with clear communication skills and high emotional intelligence.
  • Proven ability to build and lead website development teams, fostering collaboration and innovation.
  • Ability to work in a growth-oriented, fast-paced environment, with regularly moving targets, and ability to manage many strong opinions simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail, including experience using data to drive decision-making.
  • Willingness to roll up sleeves and jump in to help at any stage of a project, no matter how large or small.
  • Flexible and nimble work style for a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with a customer data platform (CDP) and knowledge of relational databases is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency with digital marketing tools and platforms, including GA4, Tag Manager, Google Looker Studio, SEO tools, marketing automation and CRM/email marketing platforms.
  • A genuine passion for nature, wildlife, and sustainable travel is highly desirable.



COMPENSATION

Starting salary range: $90,000-$100,000 plus annual bonus. Compensation commensurate with experience. (Per Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, employers must include compensation ranges in job postings). This is a full-time, exempt position.

LOCATION AND TRAVEL

 

This position offers the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule. Attendance in the office is required at least two days per week. This position may also require 1-2 weeks of travel annually to meet the needs of the role.

WORKING HOURS

Our standard company hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM MT. On Saturdays, we operate from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with coverage provided by select members of our guest-facing teams. Additional hours may be required, as needed, to achieve your goals and support business needs.
