    Job Summary: Responsible for outfitting all guests with rental equipment suitable for their needs and explaining safety features. Applicants must be at least18 years of age. Please note these positions are located at Palisades Tahoe and are not remote. Hourly: The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC’s hourly pay range for this position.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide exceptional customer service to all customers and employees.

    Greet and assist guests promptly upon entering the store.

    • Demonstrate product knowledge for retail items and rental fleet.
    • Assess guest needs through effective questioning and recommend appropriate equipment.

    Size guests for boots and ensure proper fit.

    • Advise on ski, pole, or snowboard sizing based on guest's ability and physical attributes.
    • Maintain binding certification and adjust bindings according to manufacturers’ guidelines.
    • Ensure accurate completion of rental contracts.
    • Educate guests on the operation and safety features of rental equipment.

    Operate the RTP POS system proficiently. Inspect returned equipment for damage and proper condition.

    • Ensure guest satisfaction and express gratitude upon departure.
    • Maintain shop cleanliness and organize equipment storage.

    Ability to walk, stand, talk, see, and hear throughout the work shift. Capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs occasionally. Visual acuity including close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Working Conditions: Indoor/Outdoor: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will occasionally be exposed to outside weather conditions.
